When family comes to town...

Last week was a busy week in our house. Danny's parents came from Denver and his brother, his wife, and two kids came from Minnesota to visit for Call week. We had a wonderful time catching up and watching the kids play. On Thursday, we took the kids to the zoo. Of course the zoo is Patrick's favorite place on earth so he was excited to share it with the family. We will sorely miss this zoo when we move. Brennen is finally at the age to enjoy the zoo as well. He had his first experience roaming with the goats. Our boys sure do love animals!

Grace was a little outnumbered by the boys but she held her own.




"Oh, he's so cute!" is what Patrick said as he hugged the bunny. Bunny didn't like the hug and went a little nuts after Patrick let him go.



Brennen loved the goats! No fear whatsoever. Even when they were trying to eat his hair and chew on his clothes.

Watching the goat pee was very interesting to Patrick. He said "What's he doing Mommy?" I responded, "He's going wee wee." Patrick quickly exclaimed, "Oh, good job goat! Your such a big boy!"
