Christmas 2010

Christmas 2010 in the Larson household was not as carefree as we would have liked. Danny was hospitalized on the 22nd for numbness on his right side, loss of hearing on his right side, and extremely high blood pressure. He was released the next day after finding nothing wrong other than the high blood pressure. On the 27th, after he lead six church services, he was feeling worse so we headed down to Denver. We went in the emergency room and he was seen by a neurologist. The neurologist scheduled an MRI for the next day of which came back normal. We are still unsure of what happened. He could have had a very small stroke or it could have just been stress that made his body react so strangely. Whatever the cause, he is still recovering.

In spite of all that, we were still able to enjoy the Christmas season. The Lord has truly blessed us with two wonderful children, two churches filled with understanding and loving people, and a wonderfully supportive family who cares about us and is there when we need them. We wish you all a belated Merry Christmas and a very happy new year.

Presents are all ready to be opened.

Brennen with his panda pillow pet. These two have had a bit of a relationship over the last few weeks before Christmas. He saw a rack filled with these every week when we went grocery shopping. The panda was the only one he ever had eyes for.
Even Koda got a present.
New bikes for both boys.

I told the boys they had to wait until after Christmas to eat the Gingerbread house. I really only let them have a few bites :).
